An Excellent (And Terrifying Game)
Subnautica is a phenomenal experience that has enough depth to satisfy veterans of the survival genre while also being an accessible starting point for newcomers. It helps that its setting is so unique; As challenging as it is to survive and thrive in a jungle or desert, doing the same on a planet that's completely covered in water is even more grueling. Screen Rant's Take: An Incredibly Exciting Announcement
2025 Can't Come Soon Enough
After years of struggling to enjoy the survival genre, Subnautica is the game where it finally clicked for me. The strange, alien nature of Planet 4546B kept me invested in building bigger, better equipment while diving deeper into the ocean's maw. Besides being an excellent survival game, the experience is also filled with tense, horror-infused moments that keep things fresh and make for a memorable time; I can't wait to finally get my hands on the early-access version of the sequel in 2025.
