Task Force X, a rag-tag group of supervillains and antiheroes, sent on a deadly mission by Amanda Waller to stop an alien invasion led by Brainiac in Metropolis. Prior to their arrival in Superman's home city, Brainiac has taken and mind-controlled many of the Justice League, forcing Waller to issue a kill order on some of the DC Universe's most iconic heroes.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League eschews the Batman: Arkham series' melee-focused combat for more shooter-heavy gameplay. Therefore, most of the boss battles in the game involve targeting specific enemies' weaknesses through a series of counter-attacks before unloading a barrage of bullets into them.

Every Character Who Dies In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
As is the case with most of the stories centered around Task Force X, Suicide Squad: KTJL sees many characters killed throughout its campaign.
5 Batman
The "Endgame" Trophy/Achievement is unlocked for defeating Batman.
Considering how the Batman that Task Force X faces in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the same one that players controlled in the previous Batman: Arkham, many would assume his boss battle would consist of countering the brutal Freeflow combat players got to utilize in those games. There had already been several occasions in which the Predator combat from those titles was used by Batman, namely in the "Batman Experience" museum exhibition, and when seeing the aftermath of such an attack when entering Wayne Bank, but this version wasn't seen in direct combat as often.
The final boss fight with Batman takes place when Task Force X infiltrates a Batcave under the Metropolis Hydro Power Station in search of a way to stop Superman. Here, Batman uses Scarecrow's Fear Toxin to create a giant, monstrous Batman hallucination similar to his fiery appearance in the Knightfall ending of Batman: Arkham Knight. Unfortunately, this essentially turned Batman into a bullet sponge.
The main challenge is simply dodging the obstacles thrown at the player by the giant Batman. This involves jumping over walls of fire, rolling out of the way of his laser eye blasts, and shooting glowing purple energy attacks before they reach the player. Countering opens a weak spot for maximum damage on Batman's head, but unlike the shielding of other heroes like Green Lantern, Batman can be shot and take damage throughout the entire fight, making him the easiest opponent in the game.

Does Batman Really Die In Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League?
As Suicide Squad: KTJL enters early access for those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game, the Dark Knight's fate has been revealed.
4 Green Lantern
The "Blackest Night" Trophy/Achievement is unlocked by killing Green Lantern.
During Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's main story, the Lex Luthor of Earth 2 leads Task Force X to a secret base under Wayne Bank where Batman has developed a Yellow Lantern battery as part of his contingency plan in case Green Lantern ever goes rogue or becomes compromised. Once unlocked, this Yellow Lantern upgrade is automatically added to any of Task Force X's weapons.
With the Yellow Lantern battery's power, the aim is to destabilize any of Green Lantern's Oan constructs, which destroys his shield and makes him vulnerable to attacks. Although the scale of Green Lantern's giant Oan form, and the amount of helicopters and rockets thrown at players may look intimidating, the main trick to this boss fight is to chain traversal methods to dodge his attacks and shoot out his Oan constructs as quickly as possible. From there, it's merely a case of shooting Green Lantern when his shield is down until he is defeated.
3 Flash
The "Thunderstruck!" Trophy/Achievement is unlocked by killing Flash.
Flash is the first member of the Justice League whom players fight in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Due to his speed allowing him to quickly move from one point of the location to another, making it harder to keep tabs on him, and the ability to throw lightning and create tornadoes, Flash can be a challenging boss fight.
Lex Luthor developed anti-Speed Force "Decoupler" tech to counter the Flash, but it was damaged in his first encounter with the brainwashed speedster. Fortunately, before fighting Flash, Toyman repairs and replicates the Decoupler so each member of Task Force X has one, and the objective is to use counters to deploy this tech and slow Flash down. After countering Flash's attacks, there are decent windows in which he stands still long enough to shoot him and deliver plenty of damage.
2 Superman
The "Abandon All Hope" Trophy/Achievement is unlocked for killing Superman.
Although he doesn't appear until quite a way into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's story, Superman was the first Justice League member shown in the game's reveal trailer back in 2020, and it was always inevitable that he would be one of the more challenging opponents in the game. Superman is extremely fast, and like Flash, he can rapidly move around Centennial Park and attack from different directions. These attacks consist of throwing helicopters and other vehicles, creating a wave of freezing air with his freeze breath, and unleashing a radius attack players have to escape from to avoid taking heavy damage.
It's been established earlier in the game that Brainiac altered the Justice League's DNA when he assumed control of them, and when Wonder Woman attempted to stab Superman with a shard of green Kryptonite, it became clear that his previous weaknesses couldn't be used to the same effect. Instead, Task Force X uses Gold Kryptonite to weaken Superman, after Lex Luthor provides them with the rarer version of the alien mineral.
In the comics, Gold Kryptonite is a rare form that can negate a Kryptonian's healing factor under a yellow sun, and can potentially remove their powers forever. In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, however, Luthor calls it a new compound designed to dampen Superman's powers, much like the technology used to defeat Flash and Green Lantern. Ultimately, the boss fight against Superman involves countering the Man of Steel's attack to deliver Gold Kryptonite to his bloodstream and make him vulnerable enough to shoot him whenever possible.
Although this sounds straightforward enough and similar to most of the other boss fights, Superman's speed and constant barrage of attacks make this more difficult. Superman also has two full health bars as he uses the Yellow Sun's rays to revive him at one point, whereas the other heroes up until this point had one main health bar broken down into sections.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Cast: Who Plays Which Character
Suicide Squad: KTJL, has an impressive roster of DC characters, with many actors reprising their roles from previous games.
1 Brainiac
The "No One Defeats Brainiac!" Trophy/Achievement is unlocked for killing Brainiac.
The final boss fight in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's main campaign is its hardest. Task Force X travels to Earth 2 to take on one of Brainiac's 13 variants, who transforms himself into a Brainiac/Flash hybrid, utilizing Flash's powers from his boss battle earlier in the game, and commanding a legion of Flash-enhanced enemies.
Much like the Flash boss fight earlier in the game, Task Force X must use counters to dampen his speed force abilities, although the window to shoot him in after is much shorter than it was in the Flash fight, and Brainiac seems to move far faster than Flash did and also seems to appear in multiple places at once, making it challenging to counter all of his attacks, particularly when playing solo.
Once Brainiac has been countered and shot so many times, he disappears and summons a horde of enemies in his place. The main way to get an advantage in this situation is via the Squad as Ivy and her plant Daphne spawn plants to deal massive toxic affliction clouds. If players avoid as many enemies as possible and just focus on using Ivy's plants, this will result in Brainiac absorbing the afflicted minions' data to help him regenerate, which results in him taking toxic damage.
After a few rounds of this, Gizmo delivers some of his weaponized vehicles to counter the hordes of minions. If players save a couple of Gizmo's cars for after the minions have been reabsorbed into Brainiac, they can use the vehicular weaponry to deal larger amounts of damage to Brainiac himself to make the final section of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's main campaign a bit easier, especially if they've upgraded this firepower through Gizmo's Squad missions earlier.
Upon returning Brainiac to Waller and Lex Luthor in Earth 1, Waller stabs a Dataspike developed by Luthor into his head. This s a fragmented branch of Brainiac's network through Coluan technology and kills that version of Brainiac, blowing up a chunk of the Skull ship in the process. While the death of this Brainiac triggers Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's end credits and therefore ends the main campaign, players will still have to embark upon various Elseworld missions to kill 12 remaining Brainiacs across the multiverse.
Set in the Arkham game universe, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action third-person shooter live-service game from the developers at Rocksteady. Players will choose from one of four in the Suicide Squad, headed by Amanda Waller, as they're forced to take on their most difficult challenge yet - to face a corrupted slate of the world's greatest heroes, including the Flash, Batman, and Superman. The game allows for teams of up to four players as characters collect gear to improve their chances of survival.
