A different Suits character should be the one appearing in Suits: LA have been rapidly coming in as its release date nears, the latest trailer highlighting both the new cast as well as a sneak peek at Harvey's cameo, which will happen across three episodes.

While end of Suits season 9, Harvey decided to move to Seattle to start a new, different life. Another major player from the original series, however, could be a much better link between the classic firm from Suits and the one from Suits: LA, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman).

Louis Litt Appearing In Suits LA Would Make More Sense Than Harvey Specter

Louis' Status Makes Him A Better Option To Help Suits: LA's Cast

Having Louis appear in Suits: LA as the head of Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett makes more sense, especially as Harvey explicitly left corporate law behind. Harvey's finale storyline focused on his departure from the New York firm in favor of starting a new life with Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Mike (Patrick J. Adam), the two shifting their focus to defending the little guy at the new law clinic in Seattle. Though Harvey and Ted Black (Stephen Amell) are friends, Harvey's appearance risks going against his Suits ending.

These two characters from Suits were, like Harvey and Mike, some of the best despite the fact that the show did not know what to do with them.

Louis' story in Suits' series finale, on the other hand, makes him the ideal character for a Suits: LA cameo. Louis is now head of the firm back in New York and is still firmly in the corporate law sphere. If the West Coast cast needs assistance from an original Suits character, it makes more sense to him as he is both an actively practicing and competent corporate lawyer. Alongside of this, Louis' appearance could lend audiences some insights into how his and other characters' stories are going after Suits' finale, creating a stronger connection between the two shows.

A Louis Cameo In Suits LA Would Mean Learning About What Happened To The Firm

Louis Could Discuss How He And The Other Partners Are Doing

Amanda Schull as Katrina Bennett and Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt in Suits season 3

A Louis cameo in Suits: LA would allow audiences to learn more about his and the other name partners' journeys, expanding on his evolution from the original show. Harvey, despite his departure from corporate law, is the face of the franchise, which makes his cameo a logical choice for the spinoff series to connect the two shows. However, a Louis Litt cameo could add more to the storylines of both the firm and the character himself, as he was one of Suits' best characters but didn't have enough time to show that.

Ultimately, Louis appearing on Suits: LA would expand the world more as he is still actively in it versus Harvey, who departed in order to reinvent himself.

Louis could discuss how characters like Katrina (Amanda Schull) are doing as well as the machinations of the firm, perhaps revealing if it went through another name change or is facing hard times. Louis' appearance could also let audiences know about his personal life as he is now a husband and father, showcasing how those roles have changed him. Ultimately, Louis appearing on Suits: LA would expand the world more as he is still actively in it versus Harvey, who departed in order to reinvent himself.
