Summer Game Fest is one of the year's biggest gaming showcases, and its official partners have just been revealed. From indie devs to AAA publishers and associated non-profits, Geoff Keighley's yearly summer celebration of games will show off products from all corners of the industry.
SGF has become the de facto replacement for the now-defunct E3, which similarly hosted its conference in June every year. Summer Game Fest refers to both the live show hosted by Keighley, and the week full of new game announcements and deep dives. The main SGF show will be followed by Day of the Devs, Wholesome Direct, Women-Led Games, and more throughout the weekend of June 6.

Summer Game Fest Could Be Packed With Surprises
Major Announcements & Shadow Drops
With a little over a week until Summer Game Fest begins, there's been a pretty tight lid on things. Some of the announced partners are quite exciting, though. CD Projekt Red could debut another trailer for The Witcher 4, or finally reveal the remake of the original Witcher. Capcom is expected to announce Resident Evil 9 any day now, but people are also holding out hope for a Code: Veronica remake. Then there's the ever-elusive BioShock 4, which is rumored to resurface after a notably long and bumpy development.
Personally, I'm most anticipating the news coming from Embark Studios. It's almost certainly something regarding ARC Raiders, which had a successful technical test recently. A release date seems likely, but I'm hoping for a shadowdrop a la The Finals at The Game Awards 2023. Regardless, Summer Game Fest never seems to disappoint, and there's sure to be plenty to get excited about.
