The CW boss Mark Pedowitz assures Black Lightning (though it's not connected to the Arrowverse just yet). The CW has a number of other series as part of its lineup, but the network may be most well known for its superhero fare.

With that said, The CW is wary of having too many shows starring superpowered heroes airing at the same time. As a result, and to make room for the debut of Black Lightning this month, The CW moved petition against the Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl time slot change. But for those worried about what this schedule change means for Supergirl, Pedowitz assures fans the network is confident in the Girl of Steel.

Speaking to Andrew Kreisberg's firing. Further, Pedowitz cited a fear of "overload" by running too many superhero shows at once, and spoke of the schedule's strengths:

At the same time, we thought, ‘This is a good place to put Legends,’ knowing that iZombie would go behind it at the end of February. It also allowed us to extend into the summer, to give us more original programming, which is actually a good thing for us.

As announced earlier today with other iZombie returns in late February, two weeks after Legends of Tomorrow takes over the Monday 8pm time slot. In of whether the production issues or schedule change is indicative of The CW losing faith in Supergirl, though, Pedowitz assured TVLine he and the network are still staunch ers of the Girl of Steel. He said,

The fans of Supergirl should not be worried in any way, shape or form. We are big believers in the show, and big believers in [series lead] Melissa [Benoist] and the direction of the show.

Whether that means Supergirl is all but assured a season 4 renewal remains to be seen. The CW has long ed all of its DC TV offerings, with Arrow currently in its sixth season, The Flash in season 4, and both Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow in third seasons. However, with Black Lightning ing the network's superhero lineup - and already earning a great deal of praise from critics - The CW may look to lighten their load. Supergirl seems to be safe, but it's unclear which CW shows will get renewed until the network makes their official renewal/cancellation announcements this spring.
