One crafty fan is bringing the artificial intelligence doppelgänger of Eradicator has come a long way, starting as a computer program to becoming a fully realized humanoid. Now, a cosplayer has put together an outfit that gives the Krypton Man’s physical form its due with extremely faithful detail.
The Eradicator has quite a complex history and relationship to the Man of Steel. Initially appearing as an intelligence matrix built to preserve the history of the planet Krypton, Superman would find himself troubled by the program and its attempts to impose the history of Clark’s birth planet onto Earth. Following the death of Superman at the hands of Doomsday, the AI created a simulacra in the guise of Superman and was known as “The Last Son of Krypton.” An imposing figure and near-perfect copy of Clark Kent, the Eradicator has had a recurring presence in the DC Universe, sometimes a hero, but more often than not, a villain.

It should be noted that GQSioux has seemingly modeled himself after the second version of Eradicator who shares a similar background with the first. Both versions are dedicated to fighting for a perfect Kryptonian society and purging anything that stands in its path. The newest Eradicator premiered in Superman #2 by Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason and, unlike the original Eradicator, was created in-universe by General Zod as a way of capturing Kryptonian lawbreakers. While the two versions of living computer matrix may differ in of origin and execution, GQSioux has clearly paid attention and created a cosplay outfit that nails the finer details of one particular Eradicator.
GQSioux should take pride in his costume for not only being very well done, but for strongly communicating which version of the Superman villain he's modeled himself after. With the many types of Eradicator costumes that have existed in the last several decades, GQSioux had quite a number of styles to pick from. The ion he put in has truly made it feel like the Superman villain has leapt off the page.
