Henry Cavill is reportedly under contract to reprise his role as Superman in one more film, but Warner doesn’t have plans for a new Man of Steel film in the foreseeable future. According to a boost Superman and make him relevant again, which doesn’t necessarily mean that Cavill will continue playing the role. Among those Warner has talked to are J.J. Abrams and Michael B. Jordan, with the latter pitching his vision for the character.

As mentioned above, Warner’s schedule doesn’t include a new Superman film. Instead, the studio is focusing on giving characters like Enola Holmes, and unless he and Warner confirm his time as Superman is over, there’s still hope for him to return to the DCEU, though not as soon as some might want.
