The CW revealed that Superman & Lois season 4 will be premiering on Thursday, October 17 at 8 PM. The DC TV drama is also getting special treatment for its final season as the network confirmed that the first two episodes will be airing that night, making it a two-hour season premiere. This is the first time any of the DC TV shows that have aired on The CW has aired two episodes back-to-back for a season opener.

What To Expect From Superman & Lois's Two-Hour Season 4 Premiere

Since Superman & Lois season 4 will air episodes 1 and 2 back-to-back, there is a lot to look forward to in the double-sized season premiere. Given how Superman & Lois season 3 ended on a cliffhanger with Clark and Doomsday in the midst of their showdown, the first season 4 episode will likely pick up right where the show left off in 2023. Whether or not Superman's battle with Doomsday will continue into Superman & Lois season 4, episode 2, remains to be seen, but that is certainly possible given how they are airing the episodes on the same night.

Superman & Lois season 4, episode 2, could potentially feature a time-jump after Clark's death before coming back to set up the rest of the season.
