There are few things that go bump in the night that Sam and Dean have not faced over their 15-year-run. Demons, witches, Greek gods, the devil himself, name it and they have killed it. So is there something in the Justice League Dark Universe, they couldn't beat?

Hard to say for certain but there are a few that would give even the Winchester boys a run for their money. So who could it be? Zatanna? Swamp Thing? Let's run through a list of the baddest and cheesiest monsters of the Justice League Dark Universe to see just who could go toe to toe with Sam and Dean.

Could Beat: Andrew Bennett

A vampire? Dracula, please! If the Winchester boys had a dollar for every vampire they had staked on Supernatural, they would be retired, living in a mansion somewhere in southern California. Reggie and the Alpha Vampire? They not only killed the first and strongest vampire, but they also went a step further, killing every vampires' mom in Lilith.

Sure, Andrew Bennett is old and can shape-shift but it isn't something that they haven't faced and beaten before. Plus, the trunk of their car is filled to the brim with silver and wooden stakes. Two things Andrew Bennett fears most.

Would Lose To: Frankenstein

While the Winchester brothers have faced more formidable creatures than Frankenstein, they haven't done so alone. Just like the House Greyjoy motto, "you can't kill what is already dead." Frankenstein is not only immortal, having superhuman strength, but he can also regenerate his body parts using spares off his victim's bodies.

Making him one tough out. One of the benefits of having faced so many monsters is Dean and Sam have records on how to beat them but Frankenstein would have powers and abilities they have never faced before, nor, would ever face again.

Could Beat: Black Orchid

Black Orchid from DC Comics

On the surface, it would appear this would be an easy win for Sam and Dean. However, The Black Orchid can absorb nutrients from the air and is a master of disguise, giving her the ability to hide right in plain sight of them.

Her ability to secrete seductive pheromones in the air could leave the boys feeling a little love-struck but it isn't like they haven't seen similar creatures like this before. Sirens can seduce by song and witches can create love potions but that didn't stop Sam and Dean from ending them.

Would Lose To: Madame Xanadu

The thing that would make Madame Xanadu such a threat for the Winchester brothers would be that she can do all they can do, only better. Add that with immortality and there just wouldn't be many tricks the Winchester's could pull out to defeat such a foe.

Another advantage, she would have is her ability to tell other's futures. It is hard to defeat someone who already knows what you will eventually die from. Madame Xanadu isn't just immortal; she made a deal with Death to live forever. So not even the Grim Reaper can touch her now.

Could Beat: Doctor Mist

While he has the power of immortality thanks to being exposed to the Pillar of Life, what creature has Sam and Dean faced that doesn't have immortality to some degree. Doctor Mist has the power to create powerful illusions and other forms of enchantments but the boys from Supernatural have faced some pretty powerful witches that can do the same thing.

Rowena Macleod was so powerful she could even cage Lucifer and, yet, when all was said and done, she was still no match for the Winchesters, who defeats her time and again.

Would Lose To: Pandora

Like the others on this list, Pandora has the power of immortality but, unlike many others, she is more than capable of throwing down the gloves and kicking some Winchester butt with her martial arts skills. If her hands are not deadly enough, she is also a weapons expert in magical and non-magical weaponry and single-handedly defeated the Seven Deadly Sins.

Now that is quite a resume. Oh, and if all that isn't enough, she is omnilingual, meaning she can curse somebody out in every language. Pandora is a woman Dean could see himself with.

Could Beat: Dean

Don't let the unoriginal name full you, Dean would be a powerful adversary for most anyone whose last name is not Winchester as he can possess people at will. Unfortunately, he is pretty weak compared to what Dean and Sam face daily.

Compared to the demons, deities and primordial entities that inhabit the Supernatural universe, someone who could just possess someone wouldn't find itself on the top 500 list of powerful creatures Sam and Dean have killed or cured. Sorry, Dean but you're even a second-class hero in your own universe.

Would Lose To: Phantom Stranger

While little is known about the origin of the entity known as the Phantom Stranger, one thing that is quite apparent is just how powerful he is. The Phantom Stranger can travel through time, is omniscience and can dispel even the strongest magic.

The only one in the Supernatural Universe that could even touch him would be God and, while, Sam and Dean have even faced off against God, to believe they could even stand a fighting chance by themselves against such a being as the Phantom Stranger is unlikely.

Could Beat: Zatanna

DC Comics Zatanna

While Zatanna might be one of the more powerful magic s in her own universe, her powers in the Supernatural Universe would be bland. Zatanna has one enormous weakness that would be a fatal flaw in a one-on-one with the Winchester brothers and that is she needs to speak her magic into existence.

So once bound and gagged, she is just another ordinary villain. Not to mention, that her powers can be overused, so if Dean and Sam withstood her initial blows, she would be left defenseless once her powers were depleted.

Would Lose To: Swamp Thing

Swamp Thing is a literal force of nature. With his hive mind, he basically can control every plant, tree and even sentient beings on the entire surface of the earth, at the exact same time. He can also, regrow limbs in seconds, making him immune to any physical attack.

While he normally prefers to remain in a form similar size to humans, he can also, morph into a being the size of a skyscraper. If all that isn't enough, his power of resurrection makes him immortal. Sam and Dean would be powerless against such a foe.
