Survivor 43 is premiering soon and a new set of castaways are going to compete for the prize of sole survivor. Each of the players comes from a different walk of life and approaches the game with a different perspective.
Every contestant has a pregame interview where they reveal some personal information and strategy leading up to the season premiere. Fans also might want to follow their personal lives, so the player's social media pages are a good way of getting to know them and seeing their lives outside of Suvivor. Elisabeth "Elie" Scott
Elie is a clinical psychologist originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Like many contestants before her that work in this field, she plans to use her work as a psychologist to strengthen her social game. Elie believes she is clever, has good perspective, and is authentic; three characteristics that will get her far in Survivor.

Jeanine Zheng
Jeanine is a 24-year-old UX designer that lives in San Francisco. She lives a very active life, as she likes to backpack and run. She believes she will play a similar game to Kim. She likes how Kim was able to run the game and convince her whole tribe they could trust her.

Mike Gabler
Mike is a 52-year-old heart valve specialist originally from Houston, Texas. He is used to living outdoors as he enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing. His favorite Survivor player of all time is the two-time winner Sandra. He thinks he can be in the right place at the right time, just like her.

Morriah Young
Morriah is a 28-year-old teacher from Philadelphia. She describes herself as very joyous and energetic. Her interests include online shopping and creating content. She thinks she will play a very similar game to James, who played a few times. She thinks finding an alliance and sticking to them till the end is her best strategy.

Owen Knight
Owen is 30 years old and works in college issions as a director. He lives in New Orleans. Owen likes being outdoors as he enjoys backpacking and hiking. He is also into taking personal fitness classes. Owen thinks he will play a similar game to Adam, the winner of Millennials vs Gen X. He plans to keep his threat level low and make good relationships.

Sami Layadi
Sami is 19 years old and is a pet cremator from Las Vegas. He is into sports and fitness, as well as journaling. He likes Kelley Wentworth's game a lot. He likes how she never gave up until her torch flame was out.

Cassidy Clark

She liked how she controlled the game, but was very subtle. She thinks she can replicate that and make it far.

Geo is a 36-year-old project manager originally from Miami. Geo likes outdoor activities like hiking and diving. He also likes to travel. He thinks his Survivor game will resemble a combination of Boston Rob and Cochran.

James Jones
James is an event planner from Philadelphia. He is 37 years old. James likes to plan events and is on a journey to find the best cocktails in his city. He also likes reading and writing. He hopes to play similarly to Sandra and Russell, who holds the Survivor record for most confessionals in a season. He wants to use the "anyone but me" strategy.

Karla Cruz Godoy
Karla is 28 years old and is an education project manager. She is originally from San Diego. She likes to travel, go out to brunch, and karaoke. She thinks her game will be similar to Cirie's, as she is one of the best players to never make the end. Karla likes how she was an all-around strong player and hopes to approach the game similarly.
