Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from Lifetime's latest Ripped From The Headlines film, Swindler Seduction. Premiering October 22, the new movie is based on a true story and stars Teen Wolf and Arrow heartthrob Colton Haynes as twin con artists Steve and Mitch Johnson. Gabrielle Graham (Showtime's Twenties) plays one of their victims, Louisa, who refuses to be swindled without fighting back.

Beyond The Headlines: Swindler Seduction dives deep into the world of con artists and how they use romance and vulnerability to meet their evil ends, as well as how raising the question of how environment and genetics can play a role in criminal behavior. It's also not the only film in the series for the month of October, as October 29 will welcome An Amish Sin, starring Kellie Martin, Dylan Ratzlaff (A Million Little Things), and Rukiya Bernard (Yellowjackets). In it, an Amish teen leaves her restrictive lifestyle behind for a nearby city.

In Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Swindler Seduction, Louisa calls Steve up in order to inform him that she's pregnant. He not only refuses to acknowledge her announcement but goes so far as to pretend that she is a cold-call salesman. Naturally, once he hangs up, it is revealed that he is already cozying up to another lady from whom he presumably plots to steal. All of this is before the realization that there are twins involved, so the stakes will only get higher.

More About Swindler Seduction

Swindler Seduction Gabrielle Graham

Louisa and sweet Steve's story begins innocently enough, with the two meeting at a bar in Chicago and flirting up a storm. He portrays himself as an angel investor and entrepreneur—professions that come into play with scams everywhere—and brags about selling a company worth millions. Once Steve disappears, however, Louisa is thousands of dollars poorer and pregnant. Swindler Seduction follows her discovery that he has an identical twin named Mitch, who is yet another con artist of a similar nature. Refusing to back down, Louisa decides to take them down and win justice for the women they've betrayed.

Swindler Seduction is a RAW presentation of a Muse Entertainment production, with Piers Vellacott, Sara Murray, and Jesse Prupas serving as Executive Producers. Jonathan Wright (Good Witch) directed the project, which was written by Liz Lake (Eastenders). Other recent titles in Lifetime's Ripped From The Headlines series include Death Saved My Life, The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother’s Hunt for Justice, Girl in the Basement, Circle of Deception, and A House on Fire.
