  • I've loved the idea of A Wrinkle in Time ever since I was a child, the combination of science and feeling to create something as drastic as travel across the universe in the blink of an eye. Sometimes, I also think I'm the only one who enjoyed Disney's version of the story as well with its messages of forgiveness and love. The movie is visually stunning from the landscapes to the costuming to the battle between The IT and Meg. Storm Reid is also the perfect Meg, despite what book loyalists might tell you. Having seen other versions of the book on screen, this one is my favorite.

5/10

A Wrinkle in Time offers an engaging family-friendly sci-fi adventure, but falls short of reaching the potential of its talented cast and director.
