Andor is not only the best Star Wars show ever, it's arguably the only and prestige offering from Disney+ (aside from NatGeo programming and perhaps, Loki season 2) and the only show that can stand in the ring with Apple TV+, HBO, and FX programming.
Characters, gripping dialogue, and beautiful design work add to straight-up impressive storytelling without any need for mystery gimmicks and holding back core info from the audience. The team behind Andor and Rogue One have established the blueprint that Lucasfilm should follow for all Star Wars storytelling.

It was difficult to see Andor Season 2 come to an end. Fell in love with all the great characters and the wonderful stars who brought them to life. I did not wish it to end, but watching the beginning of the end in the first Star Wars Story of this tale, Andor Seasons 1 and 2, were made brilliantly by Mr. Gilroy, in bringing you full circle! It leaves you feeling nostalgic, wishing our hero Cassian Andor would have survived!

Andor is by far best Star Wars show!
While I would have loved three seasons of Andor, such as making Season 2 into Seasons 2 and 3, that's just for selfish reasons because I love the show.
They made the right choice by ending the series on a high note, and NOT stretching it out and having filler episodes. Everything in Andor is very calculated, and leads to the next necessary step for the characters and the series. Having the series finale lead right into the first steps of Rogue One was perfect.

The development of each character in season 2 was well thought out and executed. A more complete understanding of the Rebel Alliance was realised by me at the end of Ep 12. I watched Rogue One right after the final episode of Andor and my understanding of the story was so much enhanced.

The last show I will ever follow, wait for and watch. I got rid of cable in 2015 because everything in the media was becoming jaded and Hollywood runs everything into the ground for cash. Few good ideas anymore but Andor stands apart, worth the wait and I'm glad this is my last show I'm ever going to care about. Read books. Stop wasting your time watching sfx eye candy with awful scripts

The best Star Wars product so far. (Because they do not yet have two seasons of Andor, and Rogue One, and Episode IV in a DVD box set.) I sincerely and seriously hope the Kathleen Kennedy crowd is paying attention. THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE and will be the kind of writing, etc, we will expect--otherwise please leave it alone.

I loved season 1 and was scared when season 2 was released because it may have been a let down. It wasn't, it's just as good. We'll done EVERYONE involved. This will live long in the memory. 10/10. A+.

It's funny that one of the things that got so much grief during The Phantom Menace was the politics. Now, in Andor, it's the thing everyone loves most. In TPM, audiences moaned there weren't enough Jedi and Maul died at the end and too much politics made it boring because who cares about how Palpatine rose to power, and and and. Here were are in 2025 and Andor has dominated Star Wars without a single Jedi, indeed hardly a reference to the order or Vader, or the Force, or the lore we've come to expect. Andor views a bit like a 70's spy noir. If you swap the ships for cars, blasters for 9mm pistols, the robes for suits, and the Empire to cold war era Europe, you'd have an HBO prestige show a la The Wire or The Sopranos or Chernobyl. Perhaps, the most amazing thing about this show is the nuance it gave every single character. It did not try to rehabilitate the Empire or give the officers an anti-hero ending by suddenly seeing the error of fascism. Nor did it try to rewrite Cassian or Mon Mothma or the rebels as do gooders with hearts of gold. They all faced dilemmas and made bad decisions for the right reasons and made good decisions for bad reasons. From the beginning of the show, this was a character driven enterprise as we all know how things will end for 90% of the characters. But to still hope Cassian will find a way to Bix and find a peaceful farm life by the end of ROTJ, is a testament to the writing and how the actors found humanity in difficult places. This is not a world I want to live in, and Andor was not shy about the injustices citizens faced in the Empire. But I wouldn't mind the flying cars and interstellar travel. We tend to forget the larger world of SW, like how people lived and what they ate, but that has been a part of the franchise since Aunt Beru processed those endives and poured blue milk. It was great to see the expanded universe though and placed real challenged in front of the characters like resource management, food supply, and logistics.
