  • Bolt was my favorite movie for years when I was younger and it is one I still deeply enjoy today as an adult. The bond between Penny and Bolt is touching and reminds me of the bond between me and my pets. Dog's truly are a man's best friend and Bolt makes that clear, as Bolt, the titular hero, is willing to brave anything, even fire, to protect his beloved owner.

Synopsis

Bolt, the canine star of a popular TV show, is convinced that his on-screen superpowers are real. When he's accidentally transported from Hollywood to New York City, Bolt sets off on a daring quest to reunite with his owner, Penny. Accompanied by Mittens, a savvy alley cat, and Rhino, an enthusiastic hamster, Bolt discovers the power of friendship and the hero within, realizing that real courage doesn't require superpowers.
