  • While initially coming off as a cliche action film, Bullet Train works incredibly well thanks to its great fight scenes and clever writing that always leaves the viewer guessing where things will go. The story has a bit of a rushed ending, but anyone looking for a great action comedy would be remiss to it up.

  • David Leitch knows how to make an action scene shine, of course - he came from stunts and John Wick and such. But he lets his comedy chops show here as well, crafting a great heist of memorable characters and twists that are foreshadowed enough to feel satisfying. Definitely recommended watching, though I think Fall Guy is the superior movie. That said, it's like saying two scoops of ice cream is better than one scoop of ice cream - both are great.

  • Released as a bit of a mixed bag at the time, Bullet Train has since grown a massive cult following over the years. Starring a stylish, full-of-action story from director David Leitch, the man who brought us John Wick and Deadpool 2, Bullet Train is a type of high-octane trip that doesn't appeal to very many people, but those it does appeal to, it actually does really enjoy this kind of thing.

  • Like it a bit less everytime I rewatch it. It drags a bit and and some of the jokes go on for two long. Still, this movie is a fun ride that features some great fight scenes. I didn't know where the movie was going to go, but I was down to go anywhere that it wanted to take me. Think Brad Pitt is really good in it. Amazing Channing Tatum cameo.

7/10

Bullet Train is a laugh-a-minute action romp, packed with fun characters, electric fight choreography, and (on occasion) surprisingly earnest emotion.
