  • An amazing cast, but the story never quite sat right with me. Constance Wu basically gets tortured by rich people for a week, but Henry Golding says he loves her, so she decides to accept putting up with that for the rest of her life. I cannot imagine, no matter how pretty or rich he is.

  • Crazy Rich Asians has the reputation of being a great film to watch on airplanes, and that somehow perfectly encapsulates the vibe of it. It's such an entertaining watch which doesn't require much brain power, so time es quickly. It's gorgeous to look at with its flashy sets and wardrobe. The film actually does feel a bit deeper for me, as it portrays really well the culture shock of Asian Americans travelling to the East for the first time. I could definitely relate to it, which just added an extra layer of things to enjoy for me.

  • Crazy Rich Asians is thoroughly great, with fantastic lead performances! A rare good role for Awkwafina before she made every other part she has also identical to this one.
