I just can't seem to "vibe" with this new doctor. I don't know if it's the writers or the actor but he just doesn't feel like the doctor. His personality has changed too much.

Doctor Who ended with 12.. this new rendition is a mess. Left the grass on fire like the dumpster the Tardis has become

I think Ruby while a nice person, was annoying as a character because she was always the same from start to finish. She was always lovely. Her relationship with TheDr didn't appear to evolve. She was constantly the same. People just aren't like that when a relationship evolves they evolve with it. This didn't happen, which was disappointing.

this would have been a able agenda driven drama with above average scripts-- aside from the name it doesn't resemble doctor who at all and has sadly become a woke parody -

With 60 years of history, Doctor Who is one of the most unique properties out there. Intended as educational, yet dripping with creativity and imaginative wonder. Made for families, yet often a young person's introduction to horror. Ever changing, yet remaining always faithful to its core values. Other sci-fi series can find themselves bogged down in lore and spin-offs, but Doctor Who can be everything, with a myriad of voices having lent their perspectives to the show and talented actor stepping into the shoes of a hero truly anyone can be.

The Doctor used to actually save people, when was the last time this Doctor saved anyone, including themselves?

I have been a fan of Doctor Who for years and still love it. Every Doctor offers a new personality and insight into the character. The companions are phenomenal and bounce off the main actor really well. Not every episode shines as much as others, but most have something great to offer. Plus, the show isn't afraid to laugh at itself, which is always a plus when it comes to sci-fi.

Excuse you, LaurenKells, Doctor Who is a BRITISH tv show. I know Americans like to think that they are the centre of the universe, but back away..

Disappointing to say the least, the edge has gone it is as limp as the crying Doctor. Sorry not a fan of this which breaks my heart ad I have watched it from the beginning I am in my 70s

The shows have all been very dark and mysterious this season And you don't know what's happening till the very end

I have watched Doctor Who from its first screening on the BBC. I am 74 now. There is nothing wrong with Doctor who, the problem is some of the audience, thinking they could write better storylines, debating about timelines, or they would cast a different Actor to play the Doctor,But what most of you have forgotten, is that DR WHO, is a Children's TV show an adventure in time, that was so good that moms & dads love it too. Throughout it's sixty years lots of characters died in the stories even the doctor's Companions. My advice to you is stop nick pickings Otherwise you & only you will be the doom of DR WHO! Enjoy it for what it is an adventure in time that young & old can continue to enjoy.

Although Ruby's mother was a let down or even a red herring maybe we are overlooking her father and who he is, it does take two to make a baby.

I love this show so much I got my soon to be wife into the show as well we are the biggest whoovians ever !!!! I love this incarnation of the dr my two only complaints are I hate the sonic screwdriver he uses because it is to bulky for all the running the dr usually is doing and it doesn't resemble a screwdriver I know #12 had a pair of Ray bans as his sonic but I could get behind that that the remote control he has and he doesn't keep to one or even a couple of costumes it makes it harder to dress as him if you go to conventions or whatever.

Doctor Who varies in quality so much and so often that it's hard to give an overall review, but the great moments are genuinely fantastic sci-fi aimed at younger fans. One of the most important things to understand about Who is that it's the flagship sci-fi show on the BBC - a broadcaster that exists purely as a public service. Details like the sonic screwdriver and sonic sunglasses are a lot more irable when you know that the show is doing the opposite of selling merchandise - it's making it so that ANY kid can play Doctor Who with what's around their house.

It always takes me a while to get used to a new Doctor! I think the newest Doctor is a lot of fun and most of the story lines are pretty good! Doctor Who has always had ups and downs and some atory line's are better than other's, even with my favorite Doctors! I will definitely keep watching!

Doctor Who is the epitome of an eclectic show. Having run for more than 60 years, with entirely different casts and crews throughout, the show has different era's that are distinct and different. This most recent iteration, beginning in 2023 with RTD's second reboot has a lot of catching up to do in of quality compared to earlier entries, but it has promise. Standout episodes like Rogue and Boom have shown what the modern era can do, and Ncuti Gatwa certainly manages to make the role his own. I'm excited to see where the show goes from here, but there have been better runs to date.

It's heartening to read a fan reminiscence that is celebratory rather than viciously critical. The joy of the shared experience was so very well stated. Too many "fans" want to tear down. It was nice to read something uplifting (yet personal). Well done!

Im all for a black doctor.. However an overtly sexual "in da club" playa ?? Cmon stereotype much ?? Disney was good at things many many years ago but now they are just pure crap at everything they touch. I cant even visit old disney anymore as they have maxed out lines to stupidity and beyond and jacked prices to insane levels at the same time. Disney and this version of the Doctor is ruined for me. Patiently waiting for the next one. Somebody thaw out Walt the leadership there needs a butt kicking !!!

I really liked "Anita" in the Xmas special this year and was hoping to see more of her in 2025.
