Initially considered the final chapter, Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is a survival horror game that centers on surviving several nights of animatronics stalking the player at night, with no means of fighting back. A departure from the previous three games in the series, FNAF 4 puts players in the role of a child who must survive several nights from being attacked by far more sinister-looking versions of the animatronics from the previous entries in the series.
