  • To say the film is a classic is a bit of an understatement, between being groundbreaking in it's effects to enduring influence it is almost legendary.

  • Excellent movie for it's time. Made 3 yrs before I was born. Robbie the robot was the very 1st robot I ever saw.quite remarkable for time

  • The second sci-fi movie I ever watched, (the first was "The Day The Earth Stood Still"). Still fascinated by the quality of the SFX for the time! The footprints of the entity, and the bending of the steps still give me a chill, and I was one year old when it was released! Fabulous film, great cast! (I think my adolescent crush on Anne Francis began with this film)!

Synopsis
