It just a great show my favorite character is bender

I was so shocked and so excited I literally was jumping for JOY!!!

it is still A great adult animated cartoon just like the Simpsons

There are so many great episodes in this series, it's hard to pick a favorite. Matt Groening expanded his creative universe with this series from David X. Cohen that works as both a love letter to science fiction and a parody of it. Subsequent resurrections have still been great programming, but don't quite capture the Slurm of the original episodes.

While The Simpsons may have the longevity and Disenchantment may be Groening's newest production, there's a reason Futurama keeps coming back. Between a fun, creative cast that truly takes advantage of its sci-fi setting to make characters unearthly yet incredibly down-to-Earth, to incredibly biting satire, Futurama has provided some of the best adult-chewing animation, having the cheek and edge but not veering too hard into over-the-top violence and crassness like others can. Alongside this, the series has provided some truly brilliant storytelling, from poignant slow-burn romances to surprising longform storytelling. Not everything has aged brilliantly, but for the most part it's still a show worth celebrating.

I didn't enjoy Futurama as much as other animated comedies like The Simpsons and Bob's Burgers, and I think that's solely due to personal preference. It's probably the same reason I can't get into Rick and Morty, I prefer more slice-of-life oriented cartoons as opposed to fantastical, sci-fi ones.

Maybe it's a cultural thing, but Futurama just isn't funny to me. I don't care what happens to any of the characters, and the satirical future is full of easy shots at targets everyone agrees are bad. It's undeniably smart, but in an aimless, unfunny way where the smart moments don't contribute to either the humor or drama.
