  • I feel this movie has brought very much interest to many around the Roman Dynasty. Even though it wasn’t actual true to this period of Commodus ‘ time around Maximas’ demise. I felt it kept your interest through the entire story behind the film. Hope the sequel is as good, but I’m looking forward to actually seeing it.

  • I would really liked Banderas in the part. He IS a Spaniard, after all. Though Joaquin Phoenix is untouchable in his role.

Gladiator Review: Ridley Scott’s Neo-Classic Sword & Sandal Legend Is A Crucial Yet Flawed Action Milestone
10/10

As iconic as Ridley Scott's Gladiator is, a better film would exist beneath its legendary dialogue and battle scenes in the form of a sharper script.
