Hailing from the planet Ryloth, Hera Syndulla is the daughter of a legendary Twi'lek freedom fighter. Although relations between Hera and her father have sometimes been distant, they share the same cause; Hera settled on the planet Lothal, leading a nascent rebel cell there. She became a general in the Rebel Alliance, participating in the Battle of Endor, and remains an important military leader in the New Republic.
