Ice Age: Continental Drift is an animated comedy film that follows the events of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. When comic relief Scratt accidentally sets the crew of Manny, Sid, Diego, and Granny adrift in the icy sea, the crew soon finds themselves hostages of a pirate crew led by the cruel Captain Gutt. Determined to return to their families, the group escapes and attempts to make their way back home, with Captain Gutt chasing them at every turn.
