  • As a fan of Anne Rice I feel that they have outdone themselves with the series! Outstanding 😍

    Looking forward to season 3

  • This is one of my favorite vampire stories. I love all the main characters Louis, Lestat and Claudia, well both roles of Claudia. I see myself in them, they all have a temper, sensitive, joking and loving ways just like me. But Louis is the most caring one which someone out the group has to be. But I'm looking forward for season 3 in so excited.

  • If you are a fan of the vampire chronicles, and begin to watch this series hoping to view a modern re-telling of these stories, you may find yourself disappointed. Other than sharing the main protagonists names, and some similar plots, the latest television adaptation of the vampire chronicles has seemingly been rewritten for a new generation and perhaps even a way to captivate older fans by tweaking the story to a point where it wouldn't matter how many times you have read the books, it's a whole new literally telling. At first I was disappointed with the dramatic changes, but keeping an open mind I continued to watch. Now I find myself eagerly anticipating the release of the third season and looking forward to the newest retelling of my most favoured novels. To be honest, I would love to see all the books in the vampire chronicles adapted to television series. A great watch whether you are an Anne Rice fan or not

  • I have loved these books since I was first introduced to them as a teenager. My absolute joy came when I realized that Lestat was the "hero of the piece", not the always blah, blah, blah... Louis. It has always been my feeling that the villan/ bad guy deserved his story told. I enjoyed Tom Cruise as Lestat in Neil Jordan's film. But, this series... it is owned by Sam Reid, his stunning performance and his clear understanding of Lestat. And I would happily give it a perfect 10 stars. However...

The lag time between seasons is... well, just ridiculous. A full year or more. Add to this, the measley 8... EIGHT, episodes that they believe "make a season" . WTF?? Maybe a one off, limited series. And I the days ( many still do) when the standard for a 1 hour tv drama showcased more than 20 episodes. Think ER in the 1990's. And the talent was still provided a nice 8 -ish week hiatus over the holidays. So I have a hard time seeing the "grueling schedule" that this showrunner is griping about. Plus he takes home a way bigger paycheck. It's equally frustrating/disappointing that ALL of the Anne Rice series use an 8 episode "season". It's sad. I think a lot of viewers will lose intrest due to the lengthy hiatus. This fan will hold on best I can, to this well acted, beautiful, intense series.

    meh, maybe it's just me.

  • I love the show, the cast, the wardrobe or costume designs but let's give props to Rolin Jones and Daniel Hart, they're brilliant. I'm a major Sam fan and I'm rereading TVL in baited anticipation. I'll hang for S3, no problem. This is worth the wait.
