  • While I think it is not a perfect movie, It is well-shot and has a tight storyline. It is a hard one to adapt given how beloved it is, but has strong characters overall, and a strong portrayal of trauma (esp in that one, terrifying bathroom scene).

  • It builds an unsettlingly uncomfortable narrative with a truly chilling villain. It doesn't get everything right, considering how long the Stephen King novel is, but it is a pretty good adaptation.

  • It is really unsettling at times even if the movie relies on jumpscares one too many times. Thought the central story and group of friends was really well done. They felt like real kids that have experienced real horror in their life. Pennywise is definitely nightmare fuel though.

  • It's good but a little scary and it's not bad I love it

  • This is one of my favorite movies of all time, not just horror movies. The acting is compelling, making me invest emotionally in the Losers Club. The cinematography is beautiful. The story perfectly balances real-life horrors and supernatural horrors. Also, Bill Skarsgard is an incredible Pennywise!

A group of kids called "The Loser's Club" decide to investigate the cause and hopefully save the others. IT Review
7/10

As a coming of age parable, IT succeeds at being both horrifying and emotionally-resonant, even while adapting only half of King's original story.
