  • It: Chapter 2 was an unexpected Joy! Despite the dark material, I thought the film succeeded by having so much heart. There were some plot points that were less well thought out but overall the character growth was a great aspect of improvement from the first film.

  • It: Chapter Two isn't quite as good as the first movie, but it still is an incredible movie. The adult actors perfectly encapsulate the personalities of the child characters, which isn't always the case. The movie offers some great scares and horrifying visuals. Ultimately, they might have omitted parts of the book, but it still captured the spirit of Stephen King's novel. Additionally, the added scene with the child and the mirror maze is horrifying in the best way possible.

  • It Chapter 2 was pretty good! It wasn't quite on the same level as the first It film, but seeing the character interactions and progression of their arcs is very entertaining and interesting. It was also just as scary and nerve-racking.

  • A slight step down from the first installment but really enjoy how this one takes its time in building this epic story. The book is massive so it makes sense that this one would be long as it has so much to work with. Thought the omission of some parts of the book was the right choice. Cared for the characters a lot in this one. Which is an important part of what makes IT such a wonderful story.

Every 27 years, evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine. IT Chapter Two Review: A Satisfying End To Stephen King's Story
6/10

IT Chapter Two is a compelling and satisfying ending to Stephen King's story, even if it's not quite as charming or scary and feels a bit overlong.
