The movie was so much less detailed than the movie, the movie was so rushed it felt like only a quarter of the plot was even there and it was only the parts that held no significance to the storyline that got left

I hated the book—really, really hated it—because it had so many problematic elements. However, the movie handled the heavy topics with much more care, showing the nuance of abusive situations. It wasn't perfect by any means, but it still made me cry. I felt seen.

I love the movie but still felt it was missing some crucial details that book had that made the story so impactful, like how lilys father was abusive and the ellen diaries. However the ellen diaries weren’t even mentioned in the movie and you couldn’t tell that her father was abusive. Still a great movie with good casting, love blake lively.

The acting was good by the male characters btu the rest was just abysmal. So disted and not true to the book.

Blake Lively did a phenomenal job. The acting was well done. Great storyline; proud of Lily for finally putting an end to what so many women just can’t do. I couldn’t stop crying!

The movie was good. Thought it was lower budget. But the acting for Baldoni was on point as the “abusive boyfriend-husband”. Lively was on point as well in her point as the victim. This is a great movie to inspire and instill change. It’s such a tragedy all of these lawsuits Are making the movie look bad. And essentially whether we all believe it or not, want it or not, it takes away attention from the real issues. Which relationships are not meant to be toxic and aggressive. Them not bringing or taking ability of their actions whoever may be guilty or not shows that they were not serious about the point of this movie. Sure legalities take place, but if you are a true victim or an ab especially in the public eye you take responsibility and ensure you are taking ability by making those who harmed be responsible or those who are not to show they are not. It’s insane how much this movie made a controversy and a horrible wave. On something that was supposed to be shined light upon, maybe you didn’t pick the correct actors. Period.

Loved the book and love the guy that was Atlas. He was the best part of the movie and the reason I went to see the movie because I can’t stand Blake Lively They left way too much of the story out the movie

It Ends With Us, based on the book by Colleen Hoover, glorifies domestic abuse and portrays some really harmful messages to DV survivors. I think these serious topics should have been handled with more nuance and respect, both in the movie and in the book.

I love this movie so much!! It was so well done!! I haven't read the book yet but it won't top the movie in any way from what I heard. I'll probably read it eventually.
