As the name would imply, Justice League Unlimited takes everything great about its predecessor even further with a bigger cast and story, both of which are always given incredible depth and allow for an easy introduction to the best parts of the DC Universe. The series capped off over a decade's worth of stories from the DC Animated Universe, and even now, few projects have better encapsulated DC Comics, animated or otherwise.
