  • One of my favorite cult classics, Maximum Overdrive, is a chaotic combination of dark comedy and horror where weird elements perfectly fit into the over-the-top narrative(especially the central premise of trucks and other machines coming to life and attacking humans). Emilio Estevez stars as the unlikely hero, while the soundtrack by AC/DC adds a unique and electrifying energy that kept me hooked to the end.
