While the music isn't as memorable as the original ( with the exception of "Beyond" and "Get Lost" ) and the story is basically a repeat of the first, Moana 2 still delights as a colorful adventure boasting eye-popping visuals, charming voice performances, the infectious banter between our leads and a mid-credits scene that is well worth the wait and has me excited about the future of this franchise.

story was great idea but poorly executed and jumped around too much. Songs not as good as Moana. Movie was ok but didn’t hit the mark like first one

Awesome movie

I thought that the movie was really fun. It had a lot of callbacks to the first one. The movie really plays off of the success of the first. The plot and story weren’t as good but Moana set a pretty high margin. The movie ended very abruptly and the ending kind of dragged. The little sister was also very aggravating so i’m glad she wasn’t featured as much. Also how is that chicken still alive. Matangi was also kind of one and done. She was set up as the villain and then got like 10 minutes of screen time. Overall it was fun and had some catchy songs, although the original were better. Can I Get a Chee Hoo felt a lot like You’re Welcome with the on screen elements of the song. I hope there’s more to the Moana universe because I’m excited for more.

The ending was awesome how she saved the world and didn't think twice to sacrifice herself for it ...which eventually made her a demigod ...I love Moana even more now and a special bond between the sister's is so relatable... can't wait for Moana 3 already 😆😁🥰😍

I’ve seen many reviews online, all from non-islander people absolutely hating moana 2, calling it demonic, boring, expecting perfection, and walking out the theatre. As an islander I watched it yesterday and was fantastic 👌 reason it stink for them is cause they are boring themselves, they don't have a heart & soul to love the movie as a Islander does, they go with a negative mind from various bad views and take it on the movie, without watching it with a clean and positive mind, all they do is hate and complain, maybe uz should go watch Wicked or Gladiator which is the worst movie ever, meow meow meow

Its actually really great and it creates a plot for us to think about for the next chapter

Moana 2 is the best Disney sequel ever, I loved every song, characters and different places I would see

Moana 2 is a visually stunning film with vibrant animation and an exciting adventure. While some may find the story less impactful than the original, it still delivers fun moments, beautiful music, and a strong sense of culture. A solid sequel worth watching.

I did not like the message that it’s okay to do what you think is wrong.

Also did not appreciate the message that if one person is destroyed, you will become as strong as they were.

I luv the movie moana but i think its ruined as a musical!!

Moana 2: Another one of those sequels

Disney tried. The plot may not be as bad as the surface looks, but I’ll give it to them: it wasn’t a live action remake. That’s something rare. The idea of the concept sounds good on paper, and the animation wasn’t too bad. I still didn’t prefer this one near 10, but better than the other Disney movies being released for cash grabs.

I like moana it is so inspiring
