Synopsis
Based on the book by Michael Lewis, Moneyball chronicles the Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane as he attempts to assemble a baseball team on a lean budget - by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players. Billy partners with a young and hungry economist, played by Jonah Hill, as they develop an unconventional team of players that will change the game of Baseball forever.

Aaron Sorkin gets under your skin with the story of a baseball manager desperately trying to change the game so it doesn't chew up and spit out any more young players like it did him. As regrettably as ever, Jonah Hill is here too.

Plenty of sports movies are about failed athletes, people who need to reconnect with their dads, injury and falling from grace only to learn how to get back up again. This one is for the math nerds.
