  • I didn't even know who Moon Knight was before watching this show, but I am pleased to say this is one of my favorite MCU spinoff shows! Oscar Isaac steals the show and the visuals and plot are incredibly compelling.

  • One of the stronger examples of the MCU's Disney+ series that really lives up to the promise that the format offered. Oscar Isaac is giving a stellar performance, Ethan Hawke is a fun villain, and May Calamway is a great new Marvel addition. Its faults are a somewhat rushed ending, but the emotional journey is what keeps me ing this show fondly.

  • Moon Knight is one of my favorite MCU series by far. Bringing Marc Spector and his alters to life was superbly done, and Oscar Isaac nails it with his dual performances. Excited and hoping we get to see more down the line, either with a second season or in a supernatural team-up (Midnight Sons!).

  • Moon Knight is like nothing Marvel's done before - a gritty, weird, and seriously fun series that throws out the traditional superhero playbook. Mixing Egyptian mythology, action, and psychological horror, this show keeps you on the absolute edge of your seat.

Oscar Isaac is a revelation, masterfully flipping between nervous Steven Grant and hard-edged Marc Spector. His performance is the glue holding everything together, especially when the pacing gets rocky. And yes, he's juggling three characters, with Jake Lockley adding a chilling darker layer to an already complex protagonist.

The plot is deceptively simple: Steven and Marc investigating Egyptian gods and an apocalyptic threat. But simplicity ends there. Moon Knight thrives on chaos, with an unpolished, unpredictable narrative that feels like an adventure through a fractured mind. Wild tonal shifts and raw energy define the series.

Ethan Hawke's Arthur Harrow brings a sinister cult-leader vibe, while May Calamawy shines as Layla, emerging as the Scarlet Scarab and elevating the show's dynamic. The pacing might be a slow burn initially, but stick with it - the payoff is worth it.

Visually stunning and action-packed, the Moon Knight suit and sequences are sleek and satisfying. The show's creatures and gods might lurk more in shadows, but that eerie horror-inspired edge works perfectly.

At its core, Moon Knight is a character study wrapped in mythological madness. It explores mental health, trauma, and ancient power in ways Marvel hasn't touched before. The internal tug-of-war between Marc and Steven adds emotional depth that keeps you invested.

Ultimately, Moon Knight isn't perfect, but it doesn't need to be. It's a chaotic, daring, and entertaining leap into new territory for the MCU. With Isaac's powerhouse performance and a story just wild enough to work, this is one Marvel series you absolutely cannot miss.
