Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is Netflix's live-action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's All the Mowgli Stories, which is set in the Jungle Book universe. The film features a star-studded cast including Christian Bale, Kate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Naomi Harris, and Andy Serkis. Mowgli was delayed several times for various reasons but was partly pushed back to avoid competition from Disney's Jungle Book adaptation, which also had several big stars attached.
