While I do not feel this hits the same heights as the original due to it feeling repetitive in areas, it does at the very least use that repetitiveness for some great character work. While the battle between Byrne and Rogen's family is the centre, Zac Efron's Teddy is a highlight, even with his initial return to villainy feeling random. He kind of has a great emotional arc about finding who you are at a strange point in your life, and he can really hit the comedic beats. I'm glad time has shown we've kinda taken Efron for granted as an actor.
