NieR Replicant is the prequel to the award-winning action-RPG NieR: Automata from Square Enix. In Replicant, players take on the role of a protagonist who cares for his terminally ill sister from a mysterious illness known as the Black Scrawl. When he finds a mysterious talking book, Grimoire Weiss, the protagonist sets forth on a journey to save her and find a cure for the disease that threatens to consume the remnants of humanity - and his sister.
