WHERE TO WATCH

Reviews(1)

  • An ensemble heist movie for the ladies! I would watch six seasons and a movie of Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett throwing knowing glances at each other as they gear up for heist after heist. Some fun jokes, but it's the cast that makes this movie.

Synopsis

Oceans Eight is a sequel/spin-off from the Ocean's Eleven franchise that follows the equally capable sister of master thief Danny Ocean. Fresh out of jail after being framed for art fraud by her former lover, Debbie enlists the help of her best friend and several other talented women to perform a massive heist of the Toussaint necklace, all while getting revenge. Assembling a crack team isn't easy, but Debbie will pull it off in style.

Ocean's 8 Review: An All-Female Cast Shines In This Heist Comedy
6/10

Ocean's 8 offers a fun female-fronted summer movie experience as it returns to the world of Ocean's 11, but falls short of elevating the franchise.
