  • Pain & Gain is deceptively funny with the best performance by The Rock in anything has done before or since. Bay digs into the entitlement of American men with this mean spirited film that is possibly the best work he has ever done. It's so good with a lot going on to truly sink your teeth into.

Synopsis

Pain & Gain features Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie as three Miami bodybuilders who get caught up in a kidnapping and extortion scheme that goes awry. The 2013 action comedy, directed by Transformers director Michael Bay, is based on the true story of the real-life Sun Gym gang.
