Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway is the sequel to the 2018 film and follows Peter after the marriage of Bea and Thomas. Learning that Bea has been writing children's books based on the lives of Peter and his friends, he is saddened to learn he has been consistently portrayed as naughty by her. Feeling potential abandonment on the way and still upset and what others may think of him, Peter runs away, leading the group to go on a rescue mission to find him.
