  • Lupita Nyongo is an actual national treasure. I usually do not love watching such lighthearted movies but this hit just the right spot for me. The special Disney touch is afforded to a unique pov on a culture that isn’t always represented in a Hollywood space especially at Disney.

Queen of Katwe Review
6/10

Queen of Katwe is a heavy-handed variation of the Disney inspirational sports drama formula, but a sincere and well-meaning one too.
