I absolutely LOVE Rick and Morty!!!! I have watched every episode of every season more than 50 each bc it never gets old to me. I'm waiting patiently, sorry of, lol for season 8 to air. Thanks so much, Stacy

Rick and Morty is objectively a pretty good show I've just never been able to get into it personally. It's a little too outlandish and larger-than-life for me and I think I just prefer more slice-of-life-style animated comedies like Bob's Burgers. The animation and voice acting are great though!

Adult animated shows are really taking off, and in a space that is becoming increasingly crowded, Rick and Morty still manage to outshine everything else.

The show is full of irreverent adult humor, so it certainly isn't for the younger viewers at home, but it is an incredibly good time designed for adults.

The sci-fi, humor, and multiverse hopping all add layers of complexity, but the core of the show is a family who have a lot of struggles and do what they can to settle their differences.

When a show can make you laugh, cry, and experience every other emotion in the book, it deserves some attention, and Rick and Morty absolutely nails it.

I think I am accepting this show isn't for me, even before certain behind the scenes shifts occurred. While creative, zany, and willing to get really weird, its character work was spread too thin for me to become invested, and it felt more like a typical adult comedy, relying on crass humor and adult gags to stand out.

At its best, Rick and Morty is a whip-smart deconstruction of all the bland expectations that sitcoms have taught you to have. It depicts a supergenius main character who actually IS two steps ahead of the viewer, and has a genuine interest in testing boundaries to see if they're necessary or just tradition. That's also its weakness, as sometimes it breaks 'rules' of story that it actually needs. A major dip in quality in season 4, but it's been climbing steadily back up since.

Despite its strong first two seasons, Rick and Morty is a largely uneven show thanks to its hit-or-miss comedy, mean-spirited jabs at the fandom, and a paradoxical hatred of serialized storytelling while relying on it for its biggest moments. The moments when Rick and Morty succeeds at comedy and narrative-driven storytelling are always great, of course, so the show is still worth watching, especially since its episodic nature makes it easy to watch it however a person wants.

I cannot agree enough! I may not always love Ricks actions, I love to hate him, and often laugh at his master manipulations of his family, his country, universe, and ultimately the multiverse.

The different time lines, different shenanigans, different familial dysfunctions all make for a fun ride!!

who ever wrote this write up for screen rant have missed the point about Rick and Morty, it’s using modern science/tech and theories to make a well informed fun science statement about future events that may never come to but purely for fun!! Go watch Ted talks instead.

It's one of my favorite shows, I actually get some laughs from it and for that I'm truly grateful.

The only show, serie or program I can watch multiple times without feeling boren!

If I prescribe to Hulu can I watch or even all 'Rick and Morty' season's?

This cartoon is unlike any other. It really captures a raw essence.
