Scarlet Witch, AKA Wanda Maximoff, is an on-again-off-again villain/hero in the Marvel Universe. Typically seen donning an iconic Scarlet cape, Scarlet Witch is considered one of the most powerful beings in Marvel's continuity, with unrivaled magical powers that allow her to manipulate energy sources and the minds of others. She is considered a member of the mutant race, a human evolution introduced in the X-Men series, and is often seen alongside the love of her life, the Vision. She is also known to have two children, Billy and Tommy, as seen in comics and for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in WandaVision. She is the twin sister of Pietro Maximoff, AKA Quicksilver, who both went on to create the original Brotherhood of Mutants.
