WHERE TO WATCH

Reviews(1)

  • I really enjoyed the way this movie adapted the horror stories from my childhood for the big screen – a particularly difficult task considering the books were unconnected short stories. The movie did offer some scares. I did have to close my eyes at one point because of my arachnophobia. I was bummed not to see the girl with the green ribbon on her neck, though!

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Review: Spooky Fun, del Toro Style
7/10

Thanks to del Toro and Øvredal's combined efforts, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark does justice by the delightfully sinister books that inspired it.
