  • A fascinating adaptation of O'Malley's stylish comic adapted perfectly by Wright, this movie holds up to this day as a wonderful adaptation that was crafted with just as much love as the source material. The cast is doing their best to sell an absurd world with the straightest faces, and they absolutely succeed, making it a universe you love to revisit.

  • While Scott Pilgrim vs. the World might rush some parts of its story and miss some of the more complex elements of the original comic, it's still a hilarious action comedy with great references, an engaging cast of characters, and a directing style that perfectly plays into the video game aesthetic. It wasn't much of a success when it was first released, but with how great a film it is, it's easy to see how it found new life in its home release for over a decade.

  • Scott Pilgrim vs. the World has an energy to it that is rarely seen in studio productions. Really fun and inventive that clearly defines its characters. It also incredibly funny with some genuinely laugh out loud moments. Bri Larson is to die for in this one. Black Sheep is a banger.
