  • Sing 2 is unfortunately not as fantastic as Sing 1. Buster Moon and his crew of performers go on the road, ready to take their show to the big city. I felt this undermined Buster's goal from the original film, since his dream was to perform at his local theater in his town. It felt out of character for him to suddenly want to go to the city and become famous, since that was never his original intent. The music also isn't as good in Sing 2 and there are a lot of side plots going on, so it can be difficult to keep up at times.

Sing 2 Review: Animated Sequel Can't Rise Above The Original
4/10

Sing 2 doesn’t offer enough originality to truly make it stand out, though those who got a kick out of the first movie will find plenty to love.
