Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was intended to be the third installment in the Star Wars: Battlefront franchise but was canceled in 2008. The release would have been developed by Free Radical Design and was planned to include a seamless transition between ground and space battles by allowing players to enter and exit spacecraft.
