Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie. Despite it being a clear tragedy, the core of the movie is still about hope, as the entire franchise has been. It's heartbreaking, but there's catharsis in the heartbreak of the movie because the audience knows what comes next for the story, and if they forget, Leia's cameo reminds them where the rebels go from here.

The finest Star Wars tale since the first one that started it all.

One of the best Star Wars films made. It took a unique concept and absolutely delivered. From the backstory of the Death Star, to getting to see the Rebel Alliance in a more gritty fashion. Plus the Leia cameo at the end was amazing, along with Darth Vader's hallway scene.

Really like this movie but it still pales in comparison to Lucas' six films (maybe beats out Attack of the Clones though). A bit rough at the beginning but once the plot kicks into gear it feels like the characters finally get the chance to shine a bit. Andor has retroactively made this better and season 2 will most likely strengthen it even more.

This is from the words at the beginning of the 1977 movie has been turned into a movie is about to get the story of the beginning just before the beginning of the 1977 to have the complete beginning how it started with out the words but the movie itself to get a movie that was never been done with the people you never saw before who got the plans to the death star to make it a complete movie that goes with the 1977 movie that makes the story better with the beginning and not with words but with people who started the beginning so you can have ending that it was not to late to make a movie out of it

Great movie, my 2nd favorite in Star Wars movie right below Empire Strikes Back. Andor my favorite Star Wars Series.

A solid aesthetic return to the original trilogy era, with some pacing and character issues that unfortunately frame a gorgeous and riveting action flick with a lackluster core group. Still, I love it.

I watching Star Wars back in 77 as a nine year old boy and was swept away by the magic on the big screen and still feel that way now! I have to say Rogue One is absolutely amazing and I’ve always wanted to know how they pulled off that heist as well as their first significant major victory over the Galactic Empire! Which now is even more expanded on by the fantastic Disney+ show Andor, just an awesome treat for all Star Wars fans out there 👍🏻 a must see🤩

Best Star Wars since Empire..end of review.

We really take for granted how good this movie is, and how it had so much running against it. Even the premise alone could have brought to mind the failings of Prometheus and The Thing (2011), but a messy production could have devastated this production. However, with the brilliant efforts of Gareth Edwards, Tony Gilroy, and a cast giving it their all, Rogue One proved that the franchise could live beyond the confines of the Skywalker Saga's cast.

Rogue One is one of my favorite Star Wars movie (aside from some of the original ones from the 80s). The acting by everyone was incredible and overall, the action and emotion held my attention until the very end.

One of The best Star Wars movie ever made.

It was a great story. True it was heart-breaking, however the viewers got to see the events mentioned in the crawl - The first victory of Rebel Alliance against the evil Galactic Empire as well as stealing the secret plans to Death Star. The choice to steal those plans proved indisputably the courage of all spies who volunteered for the mission. The cast is great in the film too. One brief moment made me extremely happy - cameo of my favourite Star Wars character Princess Leia.
