It's always fun to hear the nostalgic and famous Addams Family theme jingle, but unfortunately, this remake was a little bland and lacked the charm and humor of the original film. Its animation and storywriting feel too similar to every other animated movie of the time, making it blend in with the crowd.

A cute animated film that takes inspiration from the original Charles Addams comics rather than the lovely 1960s TV series of the same name. While I appreciate the original comics, my heart lives with the sitcom, where the Addams weren't actively hostile, but were kind weirdos that people kept trying to destroy. I don't love the celebrity voice cast, but it's no bad enough to pull me out of it.
