Synopsis

The Beaver is a drama film that follows Mel Gibson as Walter Black, a toy company CEO on the verge of bankruptcy who is kicked out of his home by his wife, forcing him to the brink of his sanity. Walter's failed attempts on his own life cause him to develop a second personality he channels through a beaver puppet, which he uses to communicate with others as he attempts to recover. Using his new plush partner, Walter finds a way to connect with his family and consumers again as he re-establishes his identity.
