One of the best shows I have watched recently, the Diplomat is a fast paced thriller that has some very interesting twists. The relationship between Hal and Kate is something else. She loves him, she hates him, she really doesn't trust him.

I'm not going to spoil it for you but you really need to watch the season 2 finale, OMG had to pick my jaw up off the floor. Can't wait for season 3.

My rating is a 10 out of 10 not a 6/10 that was an error.

Dialogue is excellent. Fast paced, has humour, tension and a brilliant cast. Could not take my eyes off the screen for every episode. The final scene left me in shock!!

I can’t believe that people who are intelligent enough to be ambassadors of the United States aren’t intelligent enough to use language that one would expect from a criminal or other low-life. The constant stream of the “F” word reduces this show from “binge-worthy” to “cringe-worthy”. Surely the writers don’t believe that such gutter talk adds anything to the show? It’s completely unnecessary and detracts from the otherwise exciting and intriguing dialogue. I certainly hope they clean up the script before Season 3 is aired!

Exceptional television. Solid and credible performances by a strong ensemble cast. And personally, although he’s a monumental PITA I love Hal
