To paraphrase Kay Corleone, the third attempt “was an abortion!” not a legitimate Part III. No real fan of The Godfather acknowledges it.

The Godfather 1&2, are the best Movies ever made . I love Al Pacino and Marlon Brando in their movie scenes and Al Pacino is my absolute Favorite Actor of all time! He is the Proven Best Actor in my book. I Love Al Pacino. I Love His Acting in the Films he is in are my Favorites and I'm still discovering more films. I loved his part in "Scent of A Woman". Serpico just to name a few.

One of GREATEST movies of all time

I have to watch this movie at least once a year! Actually, I watched the whole trilogy once a year, I save it for that one weekend or one day where I’m either sick or I just don’t feel like getting out of my pajamas and I just need a good movie marathon and I throw the box set up on the TV stand put my feet up and just have me some good old-fashioned Godfather marathon! Has anybody ever noticed that at the end of the credits Nicolas Cage has a credit? His part was cut, but nepotism knows no bounds. He still got his credit lol I would’ve loved to seen his part. I wonder if I can find it somewhere he had to be really young.

This classic made mega stars of everyone in this movie. The acting was the best compared to other movies made before that time of the 20th century.

This is one of my all time favorite movie. The cast is amazing, the story line is amazing. The sequels were good, but this one, as the first in the series was the best.

Regarded as one of the greatest movies of all time. "The Godfather" is a beloved classic about organised crime, and the Sicilian lifestyles in America. Of course the movie is about the building of a dynasty, a business built on death, murder and betrayal that goes on to run itself on favours and illegal pleasures. However, in this story we see the life of Don Vito Corleone (Played to a tee by the magnificent Marlon Brando), giving favours on his daughter's Wedding day. Here we see a loving, caring man who is both equally loved and feared. So far in the movie, it has had fair tension and introduced us to the family. Then all of a sudden a film-maker awakens to find his prized race horse's head under his bed sheets, and suddenly the tensions of this movie rises considerably.

Without really explaining anything else (I mean I really shouldn't have to), our focus is on the youngest Corleone son Michael (Stunning work from Al Pacino). As a man of considerable morals and high grounds, how far will he be willing to go when push comes to shove? Lets just say "Falls from grace" is a perfect statement, befitting of this rich "Sepia" toned movie.

Something of a Masterpiece when the film came out back in 1972. "The Godfather", has only gotten better of age. There are so many iconic quotes and moments in the movie, and the cast is just seriously one of the best ever put to film. James Caan I hardly recognised, and Robert Duvall was just as brilliant as always. But obviously the biggest argument is, was this movie Brando's or Pachino's? Personally, I thought Brando was just incredible as always, and totally deserved the Oscar he turned down. Both nevertheless are unforgettable on screen.

The pacing was impeccable, as well as the locations that are all shot beautifully. Some part of me does feel that the film is a bit too long, however a lot does happen and instantly captivates you enough to check out the sequels.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I have watched it at least 5 times, as has my daughter.

The Godfather is one of my favorite movies of all time. I own 1 and 2. Now since reading this article, I have to watch them. I fell in love with Al Pacino as an actor because of this film. Michael's transformation through the film was portrayed masterfully.

When I first saw the Godfather, I thought it was amazing how he danced with his daughters and he’s waiting for Michael to come back home from the war and it was so beautiful to watch Michael get married in Italy with a beautiful Italian woman who I really thought was beautiful She was a lot beautiful and the white woman to be honest with you.

The Godfather trilogy is the greatest in the history of film. The consistency of each of the movies invokes an uneasy, suspense that pulls the viewer into this violent, cold hearted world created by Mario Puzo.
